jail finds

an amazing flickr set compiled by someone who does volunteer work at a jail in wisconsin. these were all found inside the jail's library, either abandoned inside books or on the book cart. it's compulsively interesting and culturally telling to see what people have scrawled on these pieces of paper. view the entire set here.

[all via flickr. top left: dante. what's the deal family? not to much this way but waiting. minite. minute. top right: page from a coloring book found on the women's book cart. bottom left: the back cover of an issue of jet. the ad says "limits are irrelevant to me." and "no!!" is written underneath. bottom right: discombobulated.]
