i love these installations by artist derrick riemenschneider. the way he's using photographs in them is so great. as derrick describes the work: "i find images with distinct qualities and display them without an easily recognizable content. the images’ importance is distilled into an abstract form and into an image that evokes an ambiguous sense of importance–a lost meaning that was once somehow something more when it had a complete story...." take a peek at more of his work here.
