paul graham

these pictures by british photographer paul graham portray banal scenes in the american landscape, yet the way he dims down their color, they end up feeling quite distanced from reality. their whitewashing makes us look harder at these scenes to unearth their meaning than we otherwise might. and somehow the pictures feel closer to paintings than photographs. you can take a peek at more of paul's work here.
