erik blinderman

i quite like this work by erik blinderman. it's a piece from his recent postcard series. the top image is the skyline of frankfurt (where he lives) and he's drawn an arrow to point us to the location of his bank. it's clever, frankfurt being the banking capital of germany with finance playing a major role in the city's economy and identity. but also it makes me think of the tension between the personal and impersonal relationships we have with the places we live. sorry, no website for erik yet, but i hope to be posting more of his stuff soon. in the meantime have fun with the results of a google image search for banking in frankfurt.
