erin jane nelson's 'to all erin nelsons' project. "on january 11th, 2009, i put 243 letters in the mailbox on the corner of eldridge street and delancey street. each letter was addressed to a different erin nelson within the usa for whom i could find a mailing address. in the middle of march, i received the best response (out of the mere 13 total): a receipt for the marriage license of the wedding that created one erin nelson, and an accompanying photograph of the bride." see more here.
